Saving Nico is the musical alias of singer-songwriter Nicolas Anné.

In his intimate indie-folk that is honest and connecting, Nicolas explores human – and thus also his own – striving and failure and seeks reconciliation with it.

In 2024 his debut EP ‘Out of Sight’ was released, which was well received by various music blogs, playlists and Belgian national radio. In 2026 a first full-length album ‘Flood’ will follow. Overwhelmed by fear, doubt, love, beauty, the sublime, loss… Nicolas went in search of a rawer and livelier sound, reflecting his increased receptiveness to direct experience and the mystical.

Live Saving Nico has played support shows for acts such as ISE, Zimmerman, Isbells, Chantal Acda, Tin Fingers, Jamie Webster and Bonfire Lakes. In 2024 they made it to the semi-finals of the Belgian music contest Humo’s Rock Rally. He has also played bigger and smaller (festival) stages in and outside of Belgium.
